I've just finished the Diels kit for the Vindicator.  its a 21 inch span rubber powered model at 1/24 scale.  Weight is 30 grams and it isd a nice kit overall. The wood is light and there is plenty of wood and other material including plastic canopy and prop and a nice decal sheet.  Drawings are well done.

Youy havbe to take your time and read the directions as the parts are small and intricate.  This is not an overnight project and is not for amatures.  I've tested plane in back yard and it flies nice.  Take your time and think about what you are doing and you should be OK. The only caution is handle your parts with care: you will break parts as the walls are thin.  there is no room for heavy handling or rushing the cuts with a dull knife.

I've done this model twice! Once in FOREST PROTECTION  LIMITED colours, this is going to my kid, the graduate forester and once in standard USN colours.  Planes fly nice under power but that's it. no climb or glide.  Guillows 500 series kits are good candidates for 150% blow ups and put them on a diet. Cut the wood sizes down and you will do ok.
